When did that happen?
LifeLife has been happening. I’m taking this semester off from school, with the intention of going in the fall for an Master’s in Humanities and Social Sciences with a focus on Feminism and Gender Studies.
Or I might move to China in September and teach small children. That might happen instead.
In the meantime, I’m hanging out at home, working for the corporate whore of coffee, and loving my life. Seriously, loving my life. My cat is being adorable and friendly, my boyfriend is amazing and sexy, my work is not bad, and my social life is going well. My dieting is not going well, nor is my workout schedule, but I’m kind of taking a break from stressing about my body image. I mean, my clothes fit, and I don’t feel awful when I go for a walk or a bike ride. I do want to get in better shape so that in August I can go on the backpacking trip with Lila and not die, but I have plans for that.
This morning I made potatoes for breakfast, and drank a cup of tea. I’m going to prep a crockpot dish to cook while I’m working, but if I put it in before noon, it’ll cook way sooner than I’ll be off work, so for now, I’m surfing the interwebs. *surf surf surf*
Killer wave, dude.
What a weird term. I wonder if we would “surf” the internet if the dot com explosion hadn’t been in California. Maybe we’d ski the internet, or ride it, or, hey, just browse it.
